Compliance Analyst

performs a variety of compliance duties to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the Bank’s Compliance Management System (CMS).Key responsibilities include:Aiding the Chief Compliance Officer in the day-to-day management of the Bank’s Compliance Management System.Performing monitoring reviews for flood insurance, HMDA and CRA data, and other compliance topics, as assigned.Performing day-to-day reviews of flood insurance documentation in advance of the closing date.Performing reviews of HMDA and CRA data to ensure accuracy.Conducting other monitoring reviews, as assigned.Assisting the Chief Compliance Officer in the maintenance of Bank Policies and notifying department heads of upcoming policy reviews.Assisting with tracking customer complaints and identifying applicable regulations and appropriate resolution.Assisting with the preparation of Compliance Committee and Audit Committee materials.Assisting in updating and maintaining the Compliance Procedures Manual.Coordinating with the Learning and Development Officer regarding compliance training courses.Supporting the Bank’s CRA Officer, BSA Officer, and Information Security Officer.Assisting in the preparation of various Compliance Risk Assessments.Position RequirementsCollege degree or equivalent banking or business experience is preferred.Compliance experience is desirable.Knowledge of banking customer service principles and processes.Detail-oriented previous work experience, preferably in banking.1+ year of transactional banking experience.Strong interpersonal skills including verbal communication and listening skills.Strong spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.Strong computer skills using a variety of banking software applications; knowledge of MS Office and SharePoint is desirable.Strong critical thinking abilities.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
