Mon.-Fri.Butler Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate clinical psychologist to join one of our Ambulatory Behavioral Health services including Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and Outpatient services. These programs are designed to treat a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and substance use disorders. They typically involve a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses. Our programs utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to provide comprehensive care to patients.Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality patient care, conducting individual and group therapy sessions, and carrying a small outpatient caseload.Assess and diagnose mental and emotional disorders of patients presenting for evaluation and/or treatment.Treat a wide range of psychological disorders by employing evidence-based treatments including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.Develop an appropriate treatment plan that includes the frequency, intensity, and duration of individual, group, and family therapies.Provide crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate psychological treatment.Qualifications:PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program required.Licensed or License-eligible in Rhode Island.Care New England Health System and Brown University are equal opportunity employers.
