Job Overview - General Construction Superintendent

Join our client's team as a General Construction Superintendent and play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with project teams to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency from preconstruction through completion.

Location:

Fulton County, GA - Onsite

Compensation:

$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 + bonus

Responsibilities of the General Construction Superintendent include:

Assist project teams in all aspects of preconstruction and build-out phases.

Support the Project Superintendent in field operations, scheduling, subcontractor relations, and quality control.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on construction sites.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to project specifications.

Foster a positive and productive work environment to promote teamwork and project success.

Qualifications of the General Construction Superintendent include:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

5+ years of experience on commercial construction projects exceeding $30 million (with degree).

10+ years of experience on commercial construction projects exceeding $30 million (without degree).

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
