Human Resources Director

to join our team. This role supports a group of manufacturing facilities across the United States and Canada. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Director is responsible for leading a team of HR Site Leads to deliver people-focused initiatives, apply sound HR practices in both represented and non-represented environments, and lead strategic projects that move our business forward.You will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:Developing and executing Human Resources initiatives that drive an enhanced employee value proposition and the delivery of business unit/functional strategiesPartnering with cross-functional leadership to identify improvement opportunities and drive effective change managementProviding sound guidance to HR site leads and functional partners through collaboration with centers of excellence in the areas of employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, talent management, organization development, and staffing for in-scope manufacturing facilitiesDriving organizational effectiveness through the educated application of human resources programs, principles and practices that drive employee engagement and positive business outcomesEnsuring compliance and risk management by remaining current with applicable employment laws and regulations and supporting leaders in interpreting policies and collective bargaining agreement languageUtilizing strong project management skills to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of strategic HR initiatives that align with functional objectivesImportant Details:

This is a full-time remote-based role with frequent travel (up to 50%).
