Extensive experience in managing Linux systems at scale.Proficient in at least one major configuration management system, such as Chef, Salt, Puppet or Ansible.Expertise in scripting in shell, Python, or similar.Detailed understanding of:computer hardware and architectureLinux kernel builds, configuration and tuningRPM or deb packaging, apt/yum repositoriesDNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, SSH, PKIPerformance characteristics of HDDs and SSDsIP, TCP, UDPPreferred Experience:
Experience with distributed filesystems such as NFS, GPFS and LustreHigh availability deployments using open source softwareHigh precision time synchronization using IEEE 1588 PTP, GPS, PPS, NTPVMware vSphere, ESX and vSANActive Directory or LDAPSplunk, Grafana, Icinga, Sensu, PrometheusPostgreSQL and InfluxdbHow to Apply:
