If you are a friendly, motivated person with a passion to serve others, the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate may be your perfect match.Job DescriptionTo oversee, stimulate, guide, and support the Group Sales, Catering, and Conference Services Department to maximize overall revenues; maintain positive interdepartmental communications; contribute to the overall direction and operation of the hotel; and effectively control and minimize all marketing expenses while exceeding overall budgeted revenues and occupancy.ResponsibilitiesEnsure full maximization of rooms potential.Maintain emphasis on exceeding established group rate guidelines.Assist Director of Marketing in developing, maintaining, and implementing strategies/action plans to generate revenues for the hotel.Stimulate productivity of all sales staff through guidance, development, and support.Maintain Sales Team’s focus on a proactive solicitation environment.Develop, maintain, and assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.Ensure that all administrative procedures are in place and functioning effectively.Ensure that all required reports are completed on a timely basis.Promote high visibility of the hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows.Ensure a challenging and exciting environment to encourage full career development and personal growth.QualificationsCollege degree or equivalent experience.5 years of experience leading a team of sales managers in a hotel environment in a senior sales or national account management role.Must be a self-starting team player that contributes positive energy.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Excellent ability to conduct group presentations, written and oral.Ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize when necessary.Strong business planning, account planning, and budget management skills.Demonstrated ability to be creative to develop strategies that will drive revenue.Demonstrated ability to tie strategies and planned actions to results.Strong financial/statistical analysis and business case development skills.Strong understanding and expertise in the sales process.Extensive experience with account management.Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
