MassHousing is an independent, quasi-public agency created in 1966 and charged with providing financing for affordable housing in Massachusetts. The Agency raises capital by selling bonds and lends the proceeds to low- and moderate-income homebuyers and homeowners, and to developers who build or preserve affordable and/or mixed-income rental housing. MassHousing does not use taxpayer dollars to sustain its operations, although it administers some publicly funded programs on behalf of the Commonwealth. MassHousing is seeking a dedicated and strategic Senior Human Resources Director to lead the HR department in addressing the agency’s evolving needs. The Senior Director of Human Resources reports directly to the Chief Legal and Operating Officer and is a member of the executive team, playing a pivotal role in shaping MassHousing’s HR practices, staffing models, key processes, and diversity initiatives. The position is essential for supporting the agency’s response to a dynamic work environment, with a focus on enhancing talent development, succession planning, and people management. This role requires a forward-thinking and tech-savvy individual who can leverage innovative approaches to enhance operational and transactional services. In partnership with the executive team, the Senior Director is tasked with evaluating and developing recommendations to improve HR administration, procedures, policies, programs, and training.EXPRESSING INTEREST
