This position reports to our Corporate Accounting Manager. This role offers a hybrid work model and is based at our Somerville, MA location.Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledger, prepare and input monthly journal entries, review and explain variances from budget and forecast.Coordinate and manage the month-end close process through financial statement preparation and analysis.Understand reporting and report writing for Oracle OTBI.Reconciliation and variance analysis of P&L and B/S accounts.Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounting close process.Work closely with the Accounting Manager in organizing and driving the Accounting Team.Perform monthly financial reviews of certain service areas to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results and review with internal stakeholders.Work with project/branch managers to understand financials and assist with preparation of forecasts and various financial models.Working with multi-currency general ledger entries along with conversion and consolidation.Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field required.Five or more years of accounting experience utilizing various accounting methodologies and a background that shows a progression of increasing responsibilities.Experience with Oracle Fusion and Oracle CX ERP systems.Strong GAAP knowledge.Proficiency in Microsoft Word.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred Requirements:
