US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.Primary Purpose:The AVEVA solutions architect will serve as the conduits between businesses and technology. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of a systems solution, covering all of GIS including AVEVA desktop, server and cloud based. Using their analytical and problem-solving skills, the AVEVA solutions architect will craft adaptable, comprehensive business solutions appropriate for each client. The AVEVA solutions architect will also have responsibility for AVEVA strategy and application roadmap, as well as integrations with other enterprise systems such as GIS and SAP.Technical Responsibilities:
Take ownership of a particular AVEVA solution offeringDevelop and execute a solution strategy and business plan that supports growth of AVEVA applicationsAct as visionary and strategist for AVEVA solution product areaProvide expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design documentationHelp business development life cycle by serving as a AVEVA product SME to help identify and qualify business development opportunitiesDevelop and maintain vendor relationships within the product lineProvide end to end solution and design detailsLead development of formalized solution methodologiesBuild and maintain repository for deliverables, methodologies, and business development documentsInterface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources. Collaborates with Project Managers and technical directors to provision estimates, develop overall implementation solution plan, and serve as a lead as required, to implement the installation, customization, and integration effortsProvide quality assurance for services within the solution areaMentor and guide more junior technical resourcesQualifications:The AVEVA solutions architects must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or another closely related field of study or equivalent experience. Training and certification in AVEVA solutions is desirable. The successful candidate must have 15+ years of direct experience in the deployment, configuration and management of AVEVA systems in an Electric and/or Gas utility environment. It is expected that this candidate is heavily technical.Specifically for this request:
