The Penn Museum is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Development to play a pivotal role in advancing the strategic vision for a globally renowned institution dedicated to anthropological and archaeological research and education. As a member of the Museum’s senior leadership team, the Director will lead the strategy and execution of a comprehensive fundraising program, leveraging their proven expertise in advancement to cultivate philanthropic support and propel the institution to new heights of excellence.In this role, you will:Develop and implement multi-year strategic plans for private and public fundraising initiatives, aligning with institutional priorities and capital campaign objectives.Cultivate and steward a robust pipeline of prospects, donors, and volunteer leaders, engaging key stakeholders to advance the Museum’s quest for gift and grant support.Provide mentorship and management to a team of seven development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence as they execute fundraising initiatives and strengthen engagement across the Museum and its communities.Lead major campaigns, including the renovation of iconic spaces and the development of groundbreaking exhibitions, driving fundraising efforts to preserve the Museum’s prominence and ensure its long-term sustainability.Learn more and apply:
