Main ObjectiveThe Line Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of their assigned production line, including material preparation, blending/mixing, baking, packing, and palletizing. Ensures attainment of safety, quality, people, service, and cost targets for the line while driving continuous improvement initiatives.Main ActivitiesDirect line core teams: partner with supervisors and operators to deliver all Safety, Quality, People, Service, & Cost targets. Drive yield waste reduction.Translate business and factory targets into actionable line objectives, deploying them to the team. Lead capacity planning for assets under control.Develop and document professional growth plans for team members; develop and execute training plans for team.Manage costs to budget, focusing on safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Drive problem solving initiatives and track RCA completion.Participate in production planning and recruitment, focusing on team development. Resolve team issues promptly per CBA/Kerry policies.Implement and improve the Tier cycle for daily management and reporting; escalate issues for quick resolution. Conduct regular PDCA cycles to achieve targets.Develop and execute OEE Building Block strategy that drives sustainable performance. Ensure line alignment with 1KPS and established processes.Ensure machine condition, cleaning, and improvement to drive performance. Support maintenance and sanitation scheduling to reduce PM backlog.Resolve issues promptly and demonstrate servant leadership.Participate in Performance Improvement & Network Improvement Teams; act as key contact for line new initiatives and technology introductions, provide historical data as needed and report progress on initiatives.What will you need to be successful?
Engineering degree highly preferred.Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience ideally within a food / beverage manufacturing environment with 5 of those years at a supervisor / leadership role.Experience with TPM and lean systems.Microsoft Office skills and SAP.Leadership, communication and organization skills.Analytical and problem solving capabilities.Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 to $92,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).Kerry is an equal opportunity employer.
