The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with Snowflake, Python, and SQL. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support our growing data needs.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake, Python, and SQL.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions.Optimize and tune existing data processes for improved performance and efficiency.Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and monitoring procedures.Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline data workflows.Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering to drive continuous innovation.Job Requirements:Minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.Proficiency in Snowflake, including experience with data modeling, performance optimization, and administration.Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.Expertise in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies and software engineering practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.The ability to deliver work at a steady, predictable pace to achieve commitments, decompose work assignments into small batch releases, and contribute to tradeoff and negotiation discussions.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with team members and business partners.Intermediate leadership skills with a proven track record of self-motivation in identifying personal growth opportunities.Demonstrated track record of domain expertise including the ability to understand technical concepts and possess in-depth knowledge of immediate systems worked on.Please note: There is no relocation or immigration assistance associated with this opening.Compensation based on experience.
