Patent Attorney

A law firm in Mobile is seeking a Patent Attorney with 3+ years of patent prosecution experience to counsel clients on all aspects of intellectual property, with a focus on patent prosecution. The ideal candidate must be an active member in good standing of the Patent Bar.Duties:Counsel clients on intellectual property matters, particularly patent prosecution.Draft and prosecute patent applications before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Conduct patentability searches and provide opinions on patent validity and infringement.Advise clients on patent portfolio management and strategy.Conduct due diligence reviews for intellectual property transactions.Assist with intellectual property litigation matters as needed.Requirements:3+ years of patent prosecution experience.An active member in good standing of the Patent Bar.Strong understanding of patent law and procedures.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Admission to the Patent Bar.Skills:Patent prosecution experience.Knowledge of patent law and USPTO procedures.Legal research and writing skills.Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
