Federal Contract Specialist , you will provide acquisition support services, including contract pre‐award, administration, and post‐award; acquisition policy development, analysis, and advisement. You will perform various pre-and post-contract and procurement responsibilities on the procurement of supplies, services, and equipment, which will include all functions from cradle to grave in the acquisition life cycle.Key Responsibilities:Procurement Excellence:

Reviewing pre‐award contract requirements for contract documentation, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses, and delivery orders under indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts.Contract Oversight:

Making recommendations throughout the acquisition life cycle for contract selection types for new acquisitions along with best practices in contract negotiations.Thorough Contract Review:

Review Procurement Requisitions for Action and develop a solicitation for procurement that meets the requirements for posting on the government-wide point of entry.Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct Market Research and issue Requests for Information (RFI). Conduct independent market research to guide the acquisition strategy.Bid Evaluation Expertise:

Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Requests for Quotes (RFQs) under the guidance of the Contracting Officer (CO).Strategic Contract Communication:

Respond to Applicant/Offeror Questions and document responses related to the solicitation.Efficient Contract Execution:

Proposal/Quote Compliance Review and provide recommended results to the CO for review and approval.Conduct Cost/Price Analysis:

Analyze proposal/quote costs/prices and document findings for the CO.Negotiation Mastery:

Prepare Award Documents and process the award in the contract writing system.Post-Award Excellence:

Award Administration and guide contracting officer’s representatives in their post-award duties.Qualifications/Requirements:2-13+ years of experience in government acquisitions, contracts, and/or contract compliance administration required, depending on level.Bachelor’s degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.Expert knowledge of the federal acquisition life cycle.Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency supplements.Experience in preparation of the Government's Business Clearance/Pre-and Post-Negotiation position.U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years.Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance.Desired Skills:Master's DegreeFAC-C or DAWIA certification or equivalentExperience with contract writing systems, such as PRISM.Base Compensation Range:$40,000 to $50,000 for entry-level$50,000 to $60,000 for junior-level$60,000 to $80,000 for mid-level$80,000 to $135,000 for senior-level$135,000 to $175,000 for advancedActual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.Who we are:IMSolutions is a rapidly growing woman-owned, veteran-owned management consulting company specializing in providing innovative and cost-competitive solutions to clients across the public sector.IMSolutions is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
