Yale New Haven Hospital Delivery Network . YNHH, a premier academic health system, is affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine and is comprised of five hospitals, approximately $5.3 billion in net revenue, 2,681 licensed beds, and over 28,000 employees.The Yale New Haven Hospital Delivery Network is anchored by a renowned 1,541-bed acute care and tertiary medical center receiving regional, national, and international referrals. This also includes the Smilow Cancer Hospital, Yale New Haven Children's Hospital, and Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. This Delivery Network provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary, family-focused care in more than 100 medical specialty areas and has been ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in numerous adult and pediatric specialties. It is the primary teaching hospital for Yale School of Medicine and has received Magnet designation for nursing excellence and quality patient outcomes from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.The Vice President, Finance will report to YNHH’s system EVP/CFO. As a member of both the system and delivery network’s leadership teams, this executive will have responsibility for day-to-day financial operations. Partnering with the hospital’s leadership team, including COO and President, they will also be focused on supporting local market financial strategy. In partnership with other Delivery Network leaders, this role works to develop, implement, and manage strategies to ensure ongoing financial success. The Vice President, Finance will coordinate and lead the development of business plans aligned with system strategies and capital investments, and work with YNHH’s Integrated Financial Services to achieve operational and strategic financial advancement.An executive leader from within an academic medical center, large teaching hospital, or flagship facility would be ideal for this role. A track record of working in a complex and matrixed reporting environment with evidence of achieving strong financial performance while supporting clinical growth and market development are important experiences. Past experiences in working with a board of directors/board of trustees is desired as is familiarity with a health system shared services financial structure.
