ResultsH K Strategies is seeking a dynamic Vice President with strong omni-channel communications experience to join an elite client team focused on the Ford Motor Company. Candidates must have experience either leading or playing a key role in the execution of communications programs on behalf of large brands, including but not limited to, media relations, thought leadership, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate is a creative yet strategic thinker, demonstrating enthusiasm and energy, an appetite to learn and be challenged, and a solid base skill set of writing, organization, account and team management.

This is an opportunity to serve as a true extension of the client team, leading client interactions and building relationships, managing junior members and being part of a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary group. Our people bring their individualism and creativity to work every day and love what they do.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strategies and approaches that build prominence and credibility with Ford employees and external audiences about Ford’s DE&I story.Partner with DEI Office to identify key messages and create internal and external communications including video scripts, emails, infographics, presentations, etc.Provide strategic counsel and executional support for thought leadership activities including speeches and events, earned media and executive content for LinkedIn and other channels, including writing posts.Use storytelling, visualizations, and other creative communication approaches and channels to engage audiences on Ford’s D&I commitments and priorities, with an emphasis on social media that reaches influencers and talent targets.Help advise on DE&I communications issues with the broader communications organization including Marketing and Employee Resource Group (ERG) initiatives.Lead team to ensure excellent project execution through collaboration with Ford team and creative partners, as well as appropriate editorial planning and content development for internal and external channels.Coordinate in-person and virtual communications events (e.g., all hands meetings, executive video shoots) including logistics.Review and revise employee communications on D&I issues for improved employee experience.What you’ll need to get here:Undergraduate degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, Journalism or related field.10 years of PR agency/in-house experience in communications for large, global brands; agency experience preferred.Proficient in external thought leadership including earned media and events, and internal communications and employee engagement strategies.Ability to drive creativity, execute programs, and manage the client process.Superior writing skills.Experience working with the C-suite and developing executive communications.Demonstrated self-starter, proactive and willing to take initiative.Proficiency with leveraging digital/social media as a core component of an integrated communications program.Ability to work during ET business hours.Ability to travel.Budget and team management experience.Superb client service abilities; detail oriented; problem solver able to work under deadline and balance multiple priorities.Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office tools (i.e., PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint), social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn).Communication examples demonstrating use of innovative and engaging communication mediums.What’s in it for you?Competitive benefits package—including healthy vacation allotment, 401(k) matching, medical/dental/vision support, fitness reimbursement, your birthday off, professional development opportunities and more.A career working with and influencing bold, creative teams and a client account that has a positive impact on the world.An inspiring, passionate, driven, fun, and creative team culture.Strong leadership with a focus on entrepreneurial thinking, training and mentoring to help you grow, expand your skills and become your professional best.About Hill Knowlton StrategiesHill Knowlton Strategies is an international public relations company with over 85 offices around the world.
