Environmental Attorney

A law firm in Morristown is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Attorney with a focus on environmental law, including litigation, regulatory, or transactional matters. The ideal candidate must be admitted in New Jersey and will bring 3-6 years of relevant experience to the firm, contributing to the handling of diverse environmental legal issues.Duties:Handle a range of environmental legal matters, including litigation, regulatory compliance, and transactional issues.Provide legal advice on environmental laws, regulations, and compliance.Conduct due diligence for environmental aspects in transactions.Represent clients in environmental litigation proceedings.Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey bar.3-6 years of experience in environmental law, with a focus on litigation, regulatory, or transactional matters.Strong understanding of federal and state environmental laws and regulations.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks.Skills:Environmental law expertise.Litigation, regulatory, or transactional experience.Legal research and analysis.Client communication and collaboration.
