Description

This position is vital in continuing to gain efficiencies and reduce work through continual IT and functional process improvement.

You will coordinate efforts to ensure that our Enterprise HR/Payroll system (PeopleSoft) and our third-party IT vendors like UKG/Kronos, support healthcare-wide objectives and information management needs.

You will work closely with Emory Healthcare Payroll leaders, HR IT, and Emory University IT teams to support the needs of the Emory community.

This position promotes and facilitates new software functionality and implements new applications through close collaboration with Payroll, Emory Healthcare, and University functional and IT leaders.

Analyzes business processes, procedures, organizational structures, data collection methods, and workflow to determine areas of improvement.

Will be the Finance/Payroll key point of contact between HR and Operational teams on all PeopleSoft and Kronos timekeeping projects and business initiatives.

Supports the federal reporting and strategic planning needs of Emory Healthcare and its departments.

Designs, configures, develops, tests, and implements applications using delivered PeopleSoft tools and functionality.

Coordinates testing of regular system updates and corrects functional problems and deficiencies.

Troubleshoots systems issues.

Develops functional requirements and specifications for enhancements and system modifications with business owners and Emory's central Information Technology Division.

Occasional work at other than normal times may be required based on production support responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree and five years of PeopleSoft HR/Payroll/Finance or related systems experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
