– Plant3D Specialist - Gas SectorCordoba Corporation is seeking an Entry-Level Hydrogen and Gas Pipeline Designer I with a passion for sustainability and a desire to learn and grow in the field of energy infrastructure design for their Gas Sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience and develop foundational skills in pipeline design using Autodesk Plant3D software.
Responsibilities
Assist senior designers and engineers in developing hydrogen and gas pipeline designs, layouts, and construction drawings using Autodesk Plant3D software.Participate in project meetings and design reviews, contributing ideas and insights to support the development of innovative and efficient pipeline solutions.Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and information for pipeline routing, alignment, and feasibility studies under the guidance of experienced team members.Support the preparation of technical documents, reports, and presentations to communicate design concepts, findings, and recommendations to project stakeholders.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate pipeline designs with other project components, such as equipment, structures, and electrical systems, ensuring seamless coordination and compatibility.Assist in resolving design issues, discrepancies, and conflicts through proactive communication, problem-solving, and coordination with project team members.Stay informed about industry standards, codes, and regulations related to pipeline design and construction, actively seeking professional development and skill enhancement opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.1-3 years of experience in engineering design, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data, drawings, and specifications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clearly communicate ideas and concepts.Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to personal and professional development.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.Hybrid role: Two to three days in the office.Salary Range: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour.
