We are seeking a Computer Security Systems Specialist ISSO (Information System Security Officer) to support our customers operations in Las Vegas, NV.
The effort performs evaluations of training considered critical to ensuring that deploying units are prepared to operate in complex environments.
This position will be on-site and will require an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.Responsibilities:Operates as the CSSO ISSO for all issues related to the systems and networks within their area of operations to include in collateral, SCIF, and/or SAP areas. Coordinates support from other IT members as needed based on their accesses;Responsible for investigating elevated issues by confirming the validity of the problem and finding solutions related to the more complex issues;Conducts switch and TACLANE management, guest and standalone system management, data backups and recovery, backend support, exercise and event support, ISSO duties, and delegates to lower-level IT as required;Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance to include security scans, backups, patches, updates, upgrades, hardware checks, and IT file management. Investigates and diagnoses assigned incidents and tickets to restore failed IT services as soon as possible. Resolves incidents as able. Keeps users informed regarding incident statuses. Escalates major and unresolved incidents to higher level IT support if needed. Documents troubleshooting steps and service restoration details; andImplements security improvements by assessing baselines, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements. Applies updates to software, drivers, and firmware as needed to protect against vulnerabilities.Qualifications:Essential Requirements:US Citizenship.Active TS/SCI.Required Experience:Functioning as the ISSO responsible for the training of users on the use of software and hardware for installation operations and tactical environments;Installing, sustaining, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading IT assets including data, voice, and video networks, LANS/WANS, VOIPs, and multiple video network infrastructure systems at multiple classification levels;Implementing data security measures, monitoring networks and accesses, performing vulnerability and risk assessments, performing security updates, and ensuring compliance with security measures;Standardizing, updating, and maintaining a media control program. Ensuring that policies, procedures, and processes are in place for the equipment, storage, handling, organization, and control of media within an organization;Securing and hardening network devices with current DISA STIGs standards. Acting as a COMSEC Responsibility Officer and/or Secure Voice Responsibility Officer. Re-keying TACLANEs and updating firmware;Updating and managing standalone systems and network devices. Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts. Performing regular security tests and security monitoring. Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware. Maintaining a repository of all organizational or system-level cybersecurity-related documentation (including ATOs) for systems under their purview;Implementing automated software solutions. Planning for redundancies, rollovers & recoveries of systems and networks; andAt least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience.Education and Certifications:High School DiplomaI2X Technologies is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
