The Internship Industrial Process Engineering is needed
immediately . Must speak, write, read and understand English and Spanish.Provide Production departments and other Process Support sub-groups with a mix of strategic plans and tactical short-term actions to drive and sustain continuous operational improvements. Provide immediate solutions to daily encountered by Production and other departments in West Palm Beach - Coastline.
Highlights of your role
Essential Job Functions:Work in a highly diverse, multicultural, Bi-lingual facility.Use state of the art process engineering and Lean methodologies to identify and implement short, intermediate, and long-term improvements to manufacturing practices and results.Work to create operational standard work, leveraging this to improve business performance.Work with Quality, Controls, Equipment Planning and Maintenance functions to create and secure robust processes, assets, and ancillary equipment.Define manufacturing practices focused on making products with improved consistency and fewer disruptions.Assist in capital and facility planning activities.Provide process vision and plans with respect to equipment requirements, use, placement, and workflow.Collaborate with CI function to provide time studies, value stream mapping, current state vs. future state assessments, structured problem solving and other CI related actions.Effectively working with othersMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentDependable attendanceAdditional duties as assigned
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
Able to start immediatelySpeak Spanish and EnglishHigh School Diploma/GED required. Credit towards a bachelor's or higher degree from accredited engineering college or university.Computer Skills:
knowledge in MS Office. Proficient in AutoCAD, and MS Project a plus.Work well with othersWork in a noisy environmentAlso want to make sure you have
Academic knowledge to support the deployment of a mix of automated, semiautomated and hand assembly operations.Familiar with a variety of industrial and maintenance practices. Understanding and knowledge of various lean manufacturing practices.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well under pressure.Demonstrates the Marvin Values daily.Able to work 8 + hoursAble to Lift 50 Lbs. without help & Lift 75 Lbs. with assistancePerform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motionsBending, Stooping, reaching, twisting, and turning
