Premier Project Management provides architecture, design, procurement, engineering development, and project management services to hotels. This includes implementing capital improvements for properties owned by Ashford Hospitality Trust (NYSE: AHT) and Braemar Hotels and Resorts (NYSE: BHR), and other 3rd party hotel ownership groups.Job Summary:

As a Junior Interior Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of project types including select and full-service hotels for multiple brands and multi-family. You will receive direction from both mid-level and senior staff on a variety of projects through all phases of design.

Essential Functions:Learn the basics of the hospitality industry and apply them to projects.Become familiar with local and national vendors for furniture, fabrics, and architectural materials, and participate in the selection of these.Work with senior staff to understand the scope of work and develop designs appropriate to the budget.Work with project architects, project managers, hotel engineers, and other internal partners to gain information needed for documentation of a project.Learn to space plan by hand sketching, using CAD or another industry-standard program.Prepare design presentations for clients and the hotel brands using a combination of sketches and design/drafting programs utilized by the industry.Learn to prepare construction documents and understand interior construction and installation techniques.Understand basic building codes and accessibility requirements and be able to implement them in your design presentation.Assist in quantity take-offs and budgets.Generate specifications using the SPEXX program for review by senior staff.Develop organizational and requested time management skills and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize.Respond to questions and requests by senior staff and outside consultants in a timely, informative manner.Perform field verification and document existing conditions.Attend project pre-bid and/or installations with senior staff.Gain a basic knowledge of the company programs utilized for design and record keeping and be able to utilize these programs on a daily basis.Take ownership of tasks assigned and complete them with professionalism.Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.Location:
