As our Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the software core of our product. As one of the key members of the software team, you will write enabling frameworks, set up the foundational system architecture, and implement new software features. You will help establish coding practices that foster high-growth teams and comply with industry standards. Being a team player, you enjoy working with our transducer, hardware, and systems teams as you work to optimize our system prototype and product designs. Work with software and other engineers (clinical, systems, mechanical, electrical) as part of a focused cross-functional team developing software for medical devices and applicationsUnderstand user needs, clinical needs & customer input requirements to drive software developmentDesign and implement software for a breakthrough diagnostic imaging systemImplement software architectures, designs, and workflowsParticipate in design discussions and code reviewsAuthor and maintain detailed design documentationEducation And Experience Requirements

BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent2 or more years of experience in commercial software developmentKnowledge of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patternsProficiency with C++ programmingFamiliarity with common developer tool sets, including source control, continuous integration, and automated unit testingPassionate about medical devices, with excellent communication and teamwork skillsDesirable Skills Or Experience

Knowledge in medical imaging (Ultrasound, PET, SPECT, CT, MR, etc.) and developing software in the medical industry (FDA regulated)Familiarity in ultrasound physics, signal and image processing, beamforming, transducer optimization, simulation, algorithm development, or tool developmentExperience with real-time software applicationsExperience interfacing with hardware components and systemsKnowledge of DICOM and HL7Experience with PACS, electronic medical records (EMR) or patient management systems (PMs), as well as other clinical systemsExperience with modern GUI frameworks (Qt, Flutter, etc)Salary: $99,000 - $199,000 per yearJob Posted by ApplicantPro
