In this position, you will work on our core web services that support our market-leading WorkLink Augmented Reality Work Instruction product, building out features and integrations with external services.Responsibilities
Own all aspects of implementing assigned product featuresDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codeEnsure all code is properly architected and unit testedEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our web applications and APIsEnsure code meets the highest standards of information security requirementsIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problemsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automationContinually learn how to improve your craftRequired Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent5+ years of relevant experienceExperience with NodeJSExtensive knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworksExperience with Test Driven Development practices and frameworks, such as JestAbility to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving coding standards and development technologiesStrong understanding of object-oriented programmingFamiliarity with state of the art and best-practices in design and architectural patternsKnack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable codeExperience implementing automated testing platforms and unit testsProficient knowledge of code versioning tools such as GitAbility to build and deploy well-tested code in a timely and efficient mannerGood written and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated and comfortable being self-directedComfortable in Linux/BashPreferred Qualifications & Skills
