We're a close-knit, product-driven team, and we strive to live our core values: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.We are looking for a senior manager in charge of events, who will capture the hearts and minds of our audience by creating and driving an impact-focused event strategy.You will work closely with our R&D org to ensure we bring authentic, valuable insights and perspective to events where we connect to a deeply knowledgeable audience of developers, marketers, and product leaders. You will collaborate on an ongoing basis with the entire commercial organization to help us forge the connections that drive business outcomes, including new business opportunities and expansion.As part of the marketing team, you’ll benefit from peers with deep knowledge of our product, market, and audience, and the skills to support your efforts through content, promotions, and more.About you:

You have 8+ years in a senior event management or field marketing role in a B2B SaaS or tech environment.You have scaled an event or field marketing team before, and have experience doing so in early- to mid-stage startup environments.You have a passion for putting together unique, engaging events, and have experience doing so as a sponsor, exhibitor, and producer across virtual and in-person formats.You are comfortable with ambiguity, and can put together an event strategy upwards from first principles.You have been responsible for a global conference schedule, planning and organizing event attendance across continents.You are able to set goals, quantify impact, and report back outcomes.You are comfortable with occasional travel, though we endeavor to spread the load of event attendance across the organization evenly.Direct experience with B2D and/or a developer audience is a plus, but not required.In the first month, you'll:

Learn about RevenueCat’s product, and the unique problems we solve.Learn about our developer and customer communities and how we communicate with them.Take inventory of external conference sponsorship/exhibition opportunities.Take inventory of internal content formats, and start ideating on possible webinars that leverage existing concepts.Within the first 3 months, you'll:

Create and start executing on our 6 month rolling conference calendar, committing and preparing for our first sponsorships and attendances.Develop and run playbooks to streamline our existing webinar formats, from planning to promotion and post-event wrap-up.Maintain an up-to-date repository of internal subject matter experts and their strengths/specialisms, to support your event strategy through hosting, attendance, booth support, or speaking engagements.Within the first 6 months, you'll:

Create and start executing on a 6 month rolling webinar calendar, ensuring a balance between sales- and product-oriented content, and effectively managing the internal stakeholders that will largely produce and/or host these events.Develop a solid measurement and reporting cadence for all our event formats, ensuring that expectations and goals are clear, and clearly reported back on post-event.Quantify events’ impact on company goals like pipeline, website traffic, and more, on a per-event and aggregated level.Within the first 12 months, you'll:

Take ownership of a committed lead generation and/or contact engagement goal.Start building out your team with specialized ICs to help increase events’ impact on our company objectives even further.Begin work on our first big owned event.What we offer:
