We are hiring a senior data scientist, Motion's first data hire, who can conduct deep-dive research and inform key data infrastructure decisions to help Motion scale the next 2 orders of magnitudes. You will help the company grow by automating new data pipelines, doing business intelligence analysis, building predictive models for user behavior, conducting A/B test experiments, and building Motion’s experimentation framework.Motion’s founders have a deep background in quantitative finance and strongly believe in the value of data infrastructure as a competitive advantage. We have an advanced analytics & data stack today, and you’ll help us take it to the next level.Responsibilities

Own data architectural infrastructure and the technical build-out as we scaleAutomating new data pipelines to reduce manual analyses done by business teamsCreate business intelligence dashboards around user segments, growth, and marketing to inform business decisionsBuild predictive models of user behavior to help business team identify high priority usersConduct A/B test experiments and build experimentation frameworkWhat we’re looking for

3+ years of data science experienceDeep expertise in Python and SQLProficiency in analytics and BI tools (we use Amplitude, Streamlit, and Metabase)Familiar with components of a modern data stack (eg., Snowflake, Segment, Amplitude, dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, Census, Airflow, etc.)Have worked on data systems at scaleMotion offers a competitive salary and equity compensation, medical, dental, and vision health insurance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
