You will be collaborating with our team to design and build applications for faculty data collection and display. This role primarily focuses on creating intuitive backend systems to efficiently gather and present data, supporting faculty members' needs and informing university decision-making.Responsibilities

Designing, building, and maintaining our web applications using Ruby on Rails, SQL, JavaScript, and PHP.Engaging with fellow team members to innovate and deliver efficient systems.Creating and maintaining complex and scalable enterprise-level microservices. Improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance.Leveraging APIs to build integrations with other systems.Working with large codebases to identify opportunities for refactoring or migration to external services. Participate in code review and mentoring of other team members.Exploring opportunities for new technologies to our tech stack, including, but not limited to: GoLang, Kafka, TypeScript.Required Qualifications

Have current and extensive Ruby on Rails expertise.Utilizing Git on a frequent basis.Experience using multiple components within AWS knowledge.Demonstrated track record with SQL / PostgreSQL.Possess the ability to utilize PHP, GoLang, TypeScript / Angular, and Kafka.Work in a way that works for you
