We’re looking for a Head of Fraud to join our specialized team to help launch our first charge card. We need a subject matter expert to advise on all things fraud as we build from the ground up. This role reports directly to the COO and works closely with the design, engineering, and go-to-market team to build relevant and scalable risk management processes and user experiences. This person will ideally be located in San Francisco or NYC.Roles & Responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing Point’s overarching fraud and risk strategy for our new flagship charge card product.Remain current with the newest and most innovative fraud prevention processes, tools, and initiatives to mitigate fraud loss for Point.Work cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, credit risk, and many others to implement critical fraud and risk management initiatives.Act as a critical touch point for our bank and processing partners for everything related to fraud and risk management, including regulatory and compliance requirements.Build necessary infrastructure to best monitor, measure, and react to fraud and risk KPIs.Build a world-class fraud and risk team over time as we scale the charge card program.Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a top university or equivalent practical experience.5+ years working in consumer payment fraud of a fintech or consumer credit card business; experience in a high growth fintech startup highly desired.Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with an ability to make data-based decisions.Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership across the organization.An entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to work in a growing and changing environment.Strong knowledge of workflow/processes and risks/controls, including at application/onboarding, transaction monitoring, and servicing.Point Perks
