The campus provides a 24-hour emergency room, including special pediatric emergency care provided by doctors board certified in both pediatrics and emergency medicine. General medical and surgical services are offered, as well as key specialty care.They have an immediate opening for a Cath Lab and IR leader to help them take their department to the next level! This role manages and provides overall operational and clinical nursing leadership to the Cardiac Catheterization & Interventional Radiology department. Responsibilities include planning and organizing inpatient nursing operations and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care consistent with applicable laws, standards, and regulations. The manager will establish protocols and practices, ensuring compliance with department, affiliate, operating unit, and/or system standards, policies and procedures, the Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and applicable laws and regulations. A strategic and tactical approach will be taken in identifying best practices and standardizing workflows/processes, along with developing plans of action to implement changes. The manager will establish and manage capital and operational budgets to achieve financial targets via effective utilization of personnel, resources, and supplies. Developing and maintaining a solid partnership with internal and external peers, leaders, and/or local/state/federal agencies to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives or issues resolution is also essential. Guidance and/or direct intervention in resolving challenging or complex situations will be provided.Job Description:EDUCATION:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or relevant education and experience.CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:RN-Registered Nurse in State of CaliforniaBasic Life Support Healthcare ProviderEXPERIENCE:8 years' experience in a nursing professional discipline with a solid understanding of patient care and acute care operations.8 years progressive clinical/healthcare management and/or operations experience in the appropriate area of specialty.8 years' management, supervisory or team lead experience.8 years' experience with process improvement activities.8 years prior experience working in a labor union environment.For prompt and confidential consideration, please apply to the link below:Click here to apply online
