The MEP Vice President will hold a critical position in directing and supervising the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) components across multiple projects, guaranteeing their successful execution while maintaining stringent quality standards, safety protocols, and adherence to project schedules.This Role Offers:Competitive base salary plus outstanding benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401K match, education reimbursement, and more.Relaxed schedule with a generous amount of PTO and paid holidays.Award winning, accredited learning facility focused on providing a diverse environment.Rich history with highly experienced leadership and a culture of mentorship and innovation.Exciting training and career growth opportunities, both hands-on and formal.Focus:Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and goals.Develop and integrate MEP project plans and systems, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful execution with other engineers and project teams into overall building design.Review, prepare, and assess MEP design proposals, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Supervise and manage MEP staff during construction, ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.Provide technical expertise in MEP engineering disciplines to support design efforts and validate design concepts through engineering analysis and simulations.Establish and enforce quality control measures for MEP design, conduct audits to verify compliance, and monitor project budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities.Lead and mentor a team of MEP engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Cultivate strong client relationships and collaborate with business development teams to identify potential clients and secure new engineering projects.Stay up to date with relevant engineering codes, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring project compliance and driving innovation and continuous improvement.Skill Set:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.15+ years of experience managing MEP projects in the construction industry.Professional Engineering (PE) license required; advanced certificates a plus (e.g., LEED, CEM, PMP).Proficiency in MEP design software and project management tools.Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to handle multiple projects.Business acumen and contribution to business development efforts.
