You'll be responsible for recruiting, managing, and scaling our engineering organization while developing and refining Paragon's engineering and broader product strategy. Hire, lead, and mentor a team of software engineers and product managers – growing people as you grow our business and technologyPromote a culture of engineering excellence and strengthen the technical expertise of our engineering teamsManage software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelinesDesign strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resourcesAdvise on both technical and product roadmaps, ensuring that the vision aligns with broader company objectivesPartner with cross-functional team members to deeply understand pain points for customers and translate them into clear and robust engineering solutionsMonitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvementsWork with the different teams to manage Jira board and project management toolsYou should have
Experience managing and developing an Engineering Team at a venture-backed SaaS company scaling from ~$1-20M+ ARRExperience in recruiting, employee development, sprint planning, and developing a strong Engineering culture8+ years in Software Development and 2+ years in SaaS Engineering management roles (EM, Director, Head of Engineering)Familiarity with best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operationsDeveloped enterprise-level applications with a focus on quality, performance, scalability, and securityExpert in JavaScript (React, Node.js, Typescript)We'll provide
