We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute to the company's AI/ML initiatives. Working in close partnership with our AI/ML development team (the VP of Data and AI/ML and the VP of Product Management) you will be responsible for deploying ML and AI solutions by leveraging your expertise in machine learning, Airflow, Spark, Kubernetes and Sagemaker. Your primary focus will be on deploying production quality AI/ML solutions to be consumed by our front-end. This person will be an individual contributor that can navigate between design/architecture and executing the design.Specific Roles & ResponsibilitiesOwn the machine learning operations and deployment for all ML and AI solutionsDevelop frameworks for capturing the feedback loop dataAutomate monitoring of model performance and user behaviorInfluence the tooling, frameworks, and ML practices with the AI/ML teamAid in the data collection for AI/ML development and validationPartner with Product Management on prioritization and requirementOccasional domestic travel required for in-person team, department, and company meetingsQualificationsAWS tools and solutions including Sagemaker, Redshift, AthenaExperience with Machine learning libraries such as PyTorchHands-on experience with designing, developing and deploying workflows with ML models with feedback loops; Uses Bitbucket workflows and has experience with CI/CDDeep experience in at least two of the following languages: PySpark/Spark, Python, CWorking knowledge of AI/ML algorithms. Large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-augmented generation (RAN), Clustering algorithms (such as K-Means), Binary classifiers (such as XGBoost)High level of self-starter, learning, and initiative behaviorsPreferred:Background as a software engineer and experience as a data scientistFeatures StoresWhy Teaching Strategies
