The SDET is a self-motivated individual who contributes to bringing our quality assurance processes to the next level and is determined to deliver the best experience to Crexi’s users. This role helps the engineering team automate, enhance, maintain, and optimize Crexi’s growing list of test scenarios.What you'll doCollaborates with the distributed SDET team toward the goal of supporting frequent releases and keeping a high bar of qualityProvides guidance in the review and validation of all automation deliverablesMentors peers to foster their growthWorks with the larger engineering organization to develop and implement best practices and workflow improvements for testingWorks with the team on automation strategy for new services and productsCollaborates with cross-functional teams in key planning meetings to provide feedback on feature specifications, testing needs, and project risksDesigns, develops, and executes new automated test cases that ensure the software meets the intended requirements and helps maintain existing automated test suitesIdentifies, troubleshoots, and tracks bugs to resolutionPerforms other duties as assignedWho you are:Self-starter who independently owns their own success metricsExceptional communication skills and an ability to provide clear and concise insights to the product teamResponsive, action-oriented, and innovative problem solverStrong and efficient teamwork and cross-department collaborationExcellent organizational and prioritization skills and an ability to demonstrate and handle multiple tasks accurately and efficientlyAble to digest complex problems and review related information in order to develop and evaluate options and implement the best solutionStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical audiencesPluses:4+ years of experience working in SDET roleExperience building scalable test automation approaches and toolsExperience with JavaScript or TypeScriptStrong understanding of OOP and clean code principlesPassionate about well-designed and maintainable code, with high standardsExperience with Cypress and Playwright testing frameworksThorough understanding of CI/CD concepts in DevOps pipeline and toolsSolid knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, HTTP protocol, JSON, RESTThe anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $124,000 to $140,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc.Crexi is an EEO Employer.
