We are looking for a talented frontend software engineer to join our fast-growing mental health startup. In this role, you will help lead frontend development for our healthcare platform. You’ll work with the latest frontend technologies (React) that are deployed on the cloud using AWS.We are primarily located in the US (ET time zone) and would prefer candidates who can provide 3-6 hours of overlap. We are open to both full- and part-time engagements, and expect the project to last at least 3-6 months with potential long-term extensions. Our team members have worked for companies such as Amazon, Palantir, Citadel, and Optiver.Our primary mission is to improve treatment access and options for mental health. Several years of relevant work experience in front-end design and developmentExpertise in CSS/HTML and preprocessors such as SASS or LESSExpertise in modern JavaScript (ES6, ES8, etc)Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, React Native, etc)Expertise in building responsive layoutsExperience with modern browser technologiesProven debugging and troubleshooting skillsStrong understanding of client-side performance optimization techniquesYou are not afraid of ambiguity and understand that the goal for a startup is to find the product-market fit and to learn from mistakes as soon as possible instead of building perfect productsGreat to have
