you can expect a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, matching 401K, FSA, employer-paid life insurance), favorable work/life balance, a generous PTO allowance and paid holidays, an engaging and collaborative work environment, numerous opportunities for career growth, and an entrepreneurial focus that encourages employees to chart their own paths.POSITION OVERVIEW: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (NORTHERN CALIFORNIA)The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing and executing various strategies to grow sales and increase market penetration of the company’s products in the Northern California region.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMeet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual regional sales goalsPlan and manage the sales effort for the RegionMaintain contact with all major accounts, key contacts at these accounts and develop new targets.Supervise and evaluate the activities and rep firms within the area, providing counsel and guidance when needed.Work with Sales Leadership Team to establish annual Regional BudgetProvide accurate forecasting on a timely basisManage sales performance and visibility through disciplined use of CRM.Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.Build a new customer base by prospecting and closing new “names” in territory.Review monthly rep firm activitiesConfer with internal operation personnel suggesting changes and improvements in design, pricing or policy.Provide reporting and status updates of regional activities as requiredControl expenses appropriate to job performance and assigned territory.This position supervises Manufacturers Reps. Experience with Distributors and Reps is required.Ability to travel as needed (Minimum 50%)Any other duties as assigned.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTBachelor's degree preferred plus three (3) to eight (8) years of related sales experience within the electronic component/communication industry. Excellent verbal, written and computer experience required.
