This person will work directly with one of the founders to create processes and programs that span the entire employee lifecycle. From day-to-day operations such as onboarding and employee engagement to more strategic initiatives such as compensation planning or performance reviews, this person will make a major impact on the organization’s internal communications and culture.What You Will DoDesign organizational structures and career pathways that encourage effective operations and growth opportunities where possibleCollaborate with leadership and managers on team engagement initiatives, events, and surveysChampion a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace and design and implement practices to support their achievementOptimize employee compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and reflect our valuesOversee the employee benefits programs and payroll across the organizationIterate on internal resources and help employees find answers to everything from onboarding to off-boarding to benefits to performance managementImprove upon onboarding, offboarding, and succession planning proceduresMaintain human resource information system records and reportingEstablish and update internal compliance and employee policiesManage external vendors such as Bonusly, 401(k), Lattice, etc.Who You Are5-7 years of people operations experience in a fast-paced environmentExtensive knowledge of the employee lifecycle and the various milestones and challenges that each individual will reachDemonstrable track record of building and implementing successful people operations programsProud culture carrier that will look for opportunities to practice our values and lead by exampleProven ability to influence cross-functional teamsOrganized and process drivenArticulate, clear, and concise written and spoken communicationFinch is an equal opportunity employer.
