Nestled in the southeastern corner of Washington state, this Health System is a comprehensive, community-based system of care serving the greater Tri-Cities (Kennewick, Richland, and Pasco) with two teaching hospitals (111 licensed beds) and a network of outpatient specialty practices and services.
A Hospital, opened in 2014 and is one of the newest hospitals in the state, offers world-class diagnostics and an adjacent, connected outpatient facility. Women’s & Children’s Hospital is home to the Family Birthing Center, which performs among the top 2% of comparable birthing centers in the United States. The Medical Group, comprised of ~100 employed physicians and providers, serves as the core of a growing medical staff network of 325+ providers throughout the Tri-Cities and includes outpatient practices and services at seven Care Centers and one Urgent Care Center. The organization has two fully enrolled and accredited residency programs for family medicine and internal medicine.
Lifestyle in the Tri-Cities
Say “goodbye” to big-city traffic and high crime rates and “hello” to a coveted lifestyle in the “Heart of Washington Wine Country.” The Tri-Cities is located at the confluence of the Columbia, Snake, and Yakima Rivers in southeastern Washington with more than 160 wineries within a one-hour drive. Comprised of three cities, the area is home to two universities offering graduate and undergraduate degrees, a Department of Energy national laboratory, and a highly-educated and skilled workforce. With a population of 280,000, Tri-Citians enjoy more than 300 sunny days a year and seemingly endless recreational possibilities on the many rivers and scenic mountains, vast golf courses, and more.
Excellent education systems, affordable housing, and plentiful arts and entertainment combine to make the Tri-Cities an excellent place to call home and grow as a medical professional.
