Your Responsibilities:Prepare, maintain and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure.Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Java/TestNG/Selenium.Improve existing Java-based automation framework by contributing to standard reusable functionalities.Integrate automated test suites with Jenkins CloudBees and CI/CD pipelines.Support overall QA activities such as test strategy development, manual test execution, and test coverage documentation as needed.Work closely with application developers and business analysts in an Agile development team.Coordinate multiple projects and guide project team members on test approaches, test coverages, and sophisticated testing scenarios.Maintain traceability from business requirements, monitor external and internal dependencies, track test execution milestones, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.Ensure all development lifecycle quality assurance for the work of other team members, including the review of high-level designs, detail designs, and test plans and results, is completed according to standards.Develop product knowledge and business domain knowledge. Responsible for process compliance and documentation.Qualifications:Minimal 4 years of experience in automated software testing or software development.Hands-on development knowledge in Java or other major OOP languages.Strong automated test development experience with Selenium Java binding or similar.Strong knowledge of at least one major test framework, like TestNG, Junit, or similar.Demonstrable knowledge of SQL.Familiar with Agile development lifecycle management tools like Jira. Familiar with test management tools like SCTM, ALM or Octane.Experience in back-end testing (API, DB, MQ, Stream) is a strong plus.Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a strong plus.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenShift, etc. is a strong plus.Capable of working on multiple work streams concurrently in a fast-paced environment with extreme multi-tasking and context switching.Good verbal and written communication skills with confidence representing QA principles within agile teams.
