12 Oct 2021 Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Fellow Last Update: 9/7/2021 The Laboratory of Medical Imaging and Computation at the Radiology Department of the Massachusetts General Hospital, directed by Dr. Synho Do, PhD, is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for multiple projects related to the application of artificial intelligence in medical imaging and other healthcare issues. The position will independently conduct research as well as collaborate with other members of the team. Our group focuses on developing innovative systems and tools to analyze medical images to improve patient care from diagnosis to treatment. Specifically, we apply machine learning to create automatic diagnostic systems with high accuracy and quality by closely collaborating with physicians, software engineers, data scientists, and other researchers in the field. We are looking to expand our scope of research, and you will join a collaborative team of diverse backgrounds and expertise in a vibrant and dynamic environment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Solve engineering and machine learning problems and produce high-quality code Design, develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning applications Work closely with other team members to find answers to various research questions Develop abilities and understanding of the application of machine learning in the field of healthcare and medical imaging MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Science, or related field Excellent academic track record Proficiency with Deep Learning Frameworks, e.g., Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc. Experience with cloud software services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) for scalability DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of basic statistics, machine learning, and data analytics techniques Solid understanding of machine learning techniques Commercial experience implementing Machine Learning algorithms in real-world environments.
