SummaryAdvanced Practice Provider shall devote exclusive efforts to the practice of medicine as an employee of the Hospital by providing professional medical services within the scope of APP’s training and responsibility, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Hospital policies, procedures and protocols, within a chosen medical specialty.Position Reports To:

Practice Manager

ResponsibilitiesPerform examinations on new and existing patients. Establish presumptive diagnoses, order appropriate studies and manage the patient's care as a member of the health care team.Write prescriptions and perform procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment.Educate patients and families and help them understand issues related to physical and emotional health and promote wellness.Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with organizational policy.Refer patients to specialty services when appropriate.Provide professional medical services within the scope of training and responsibility, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and organizational policies.

Position RequirementsFor employees working on site at any CH location, being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is an essential requirement.

QualificationsRequired:Appropriate certification.Ability to obtain an active license in the state of WA.Deals with confidential medical information and problems in a discreet manner.Coordinates with all staff to resolve problems.Consistent focus on maintaining accuracy of accounts and confidentiality of patient information.Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication and password management.

Desired:Minimum of four years of longitudinal care experience in family medicine.
