The Project Manager will lead the project management of product setups, both for product data and royalties data as identified by the Product Data Operations team. This role has accountability for designing, planning, and implementing project plans to manage title setups from the initial signing of a new author, through the product development process, to planning and being responsible for execution of their setup in the royalties' system. The project manager is a critical team member and a trusted voice of reason to all collaborators (both internal and external). They will handle both internal and external communications with groups such as author relations, publisher relations, product development, and content creation, and will need to mitigate scope creep and schedule.Position Description (Essential Duties & Responsibilities)

Serve as the point of contact for product setup-related projects for both product data operations and royalties data operations.Collaborate with internal resources to proactively manage the product setup process by organizing and facilitating meetings, clarifying processes, brainstorming solutions, facilitating conflict resolution, and negotiating among stakeholders in the best interests of the project.Launch projects internally with Cengage team members.Handle royalty and product mailboxes to ensure timely responses and resolution to product and royalty questions. Forward mail to the correct place for other author/publisher interactions and be present to ensure follow-ups are completed on time.Be partially responsible for driving down suspense and validating the timeliness of setups to avoid adding more to it.Suggest process and operational improvements to the product data setup process to drive timely and accurate data knowledge.Build an operational and communication link, or bridge between teams, and provide a calm, voice of reason, trusted advisor function.Clearly document processes and put together workflows to demonstrate standard methodologies for teams across Cengage Group.Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Proven experience in a project management role with demonstrated ability to deliver on time, high quality work.Record of leading process improvement and initiatives successfully, to assist teams in adapting to change, and to solve problems effectively.Ability to interact and influence cross-functionally to establish relationships with internal customers and partners.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Adept with Smartsheet.High level of skill with Jira.Experience with Power BI tools.Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Experience

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.$63,800.00 - $102,100.00 USD
