Job Description
Complete assigned inspections as scheduled by dispatch.
Perform scheduled inspections during the assigned time, inspect, review, and submit reports according to NYS DOB code and approved drawings.
Usual schedule is 7am-3:30pm.
QualificationsIdeal candidates must hold certifications from ICC, AWS, NICET, and/or ACI, including:
ICC Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, Concrete Special Inspector, Spray-Applied Fireproofing.
Steel Reinforcement, Welding, Bolting, ECC, ACI I and/or II, CWI, NICET II Soils, UT Shearwave Level II.
Technical, Associate's, or Bachelor's Degree pertaining to the Engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, etc.) a plus. Candidates must be familiar with the New York City Building Code, able to read prints and find inspection locations, and produce inspection reports according to company standards. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
