Responsibilities:

Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.

Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts while contributing to the development of new principles and concepts.

Ensure proper setup, configuration, and functionality of systems being deployed.

Represent the organization on projects and provide advice to management and customers on product and system solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience developing in C++ in a Linux environment.

Experience with system-level integration and testing, specifically the integration of advanced, custom processing systems, testbeds, and software.

Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl.

Experience with JavaScript and XML.

Experience developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex algorithms.

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 8 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance:

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with User Interface development and Qt.

Experience interpreting Standards and working with bit-level data.

Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP.

Experience with Configuration Management tools, such as git.

Experience with Angular web GUI development and GPU architectures.

Existing TS/SCI clearance (Active within the last 24 months).

Salary Range:

130,000 USD - 272,000 USD.

This role is a U.S.-based role. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
