has 7 operating rooms for pediatric and adult patients. The Wilmer Eye Institute is the
only organization in the state
designated as an
Ocular Trauma Center . In partnership with The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System, the team cares for patients transferred from more than 100 facilities inside and outside the state of Maryland. Eye emergency services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Care and services provided: cataract and corneal transplants, strabismus, glaucoma, vitrectomy, uveitis, oculoplastic lid surgery, and eye trauma.Shift:
8 hour shifts, Mon- Fri; weekend and night on-call required.What Awaits You:Achievable and Progressive Clinical Ladder to encourage career growth and development.Tuition Reimbursement - Up to $15,000 per year.Student Loan Forgiveness - Up to $5,250 per year.Dependent Child Tuition - Payment for up to 50% of child's tuition and eligible mandatory academic fees at an accredited, degree-granting institution.Annual Bonuses - Opportunity for up to $2000 a year in acknowledgment of your professional nursing contributions.Healthy at Hopkins - Earn up to $1,000 a year while participating in activities to improve your health and wellbeing.Retirement - 403 (b) with employer match.Qualifications:Associates Degree from Accelerated Nursing Program required. BSN/MSN matriculation required within 1 year and completion of degree within 5 years of hire.Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required.BLS CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training required.Acute Care RN work required.Important Notices:***Effective January 1st, 2022, if hired you must be fully vaccinated with an FDA COVID-19 vaccination
