Associate Veterinarian
to complement our talented team in
Orangevale, California.Current students or new graduates, apply today!VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.We are AAHA-accredited, 3-4 doctor practice, delivering high quality medicine and excellent service. Electronic medical records, full in house lab with Antech reference laboratory, ultrasound, and digital x-ray are available. We also have a fully equipped dental suite and an on-site boarding facility. Our working environment is collaborative and fun, with great clientele and close proximity to multiple referral hospitals for specialty or ER care.We are seeking a Full-time (4 days/week) or Part-time (2-3 days/week) position. Our hospital is open 6 days a week (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 9am-5pm), with no on-call hours. Flexible schedule options are available.Orangevale offers a mix of small town/rural feel while being close to the city. It is located about 30 minutes east of downtown Sacramento, next to Folsom, and is a short drive to Lake Tahoe. The area is right next to Lake Folsom and the American River, providing plenty of great outdoor activities.Compensation
is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.
