Job Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end solution with accountabilities for the technical delivery of the system, focused on large to complex coding of projects.
Hands-on experience with design and debugging skills.
JAVA development experience with a deep understanding of dependencies between different layers of the solution.
Perform complex to difficult technical tasks independently and coach the team.
Extensive knowledge of the business, technical environment, SDLC processes, and various programming languages and operating systems.
Continuously solicit and incorporate new practices leading to better-quality code delivery.
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations in a business context.
Skills and Experience Required:
Required:
University degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) and 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
Spring framework (for dependency injection and Spring-WS for SOAP).
GIT, Maven, Jenkins (for agile build environment).
Development (J2EE and Web Services).
Application Servers (JBOSS).
Databases (MySQL).
Operating Systems (RedHat Linux, Windows).
Web Services (HTTP, XML, REST, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI).
Leadership and negotiation skills.
Rest API design patterns.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to relay information in both business and technical terminology.
Extremely detail-oriented and methodical.
Ability to deal with complex systems or problems.
Translate ideas into technical and business realities.
People person, friendly.
Able to manage time effectively and prioritize.
Flexible and pragmatic.
Very analytical and results-driven.
Diplomatic, builds consensus.
Influences direction using tact.
Desired Skills:
JSSE (for encryption like SSO).
Scripting (JavaScript, XSLT, ANT).
Experience with Agile Development Methodology.
