Do you want to work in a global Agile software team? We can offer an exciting position in one of the software development teams! It is expected that you have some programming skills and want to further develop and grow by participating in the development, debugging, and deployment of the cross-platform MPLAB X IDE.The successful applicant will work with a team of experienced engineers and cooperate with other teams worldwide. The teams develop and maintain an Integrated Development Environment called MPLAB X IDE. MPLAB X is used to provide embedded development capabilities to all our customers, for all of Microchip devices. Together with other team members, you will be enabling and supporting a large user base of embedded developers to develop their applications by creating and enhancing features in MPLAB X. Getting to know your users, and the challenges they face, is important to help them be as productive as possible with the best tools suited for their job.We utilize a range of different programming and scripting languages, e.g., Java, TypeScript, and Python. We're working on fine-tuning the continuous build and integration environment (using Jenkins), making the development environment as effective as possible. Jira is used to follow up stories and bugs and is used to have visibility in the global development environment across teams.Requirements/Qualifications:
