This candidate will work with the Government client and development team to gain knowledge in identifying solution requirements and designing, configuring, and training on the solutions. The position will employ an Agile methodology.Day-to-day Tasks Include Some Or All Of The FollowingWork closely with product owners and managers to convert business requirements into agile epics and stories.Compose user stories featuring well-defined acceptance criteria that will build the framework upon which software development decisions are based.Develop an in-depth understanding of customer requirements to create complex business flow diagrams.Prepare and manage product backlog to ensure the backlog is up-to-date and user stories are elaborated on before planning events.Lead/facilitate planning events to elaborate, define accurate acceptance, prioritize, size, and schedule stories into sprints.Participate in and be comfortable facilitating diagramming, modeling, prototyping, and backlog management efforts.Work closely with Scrum Master to record ongoing changes to the user stories as they are being analyzed, designed, and implemented during the sprints.Manage the roadmap and sprint reports by keeping epics and stories correctly tagged and status up to date.Work with the business and end users to solve issues and identify opportunities for technology-based solutions.Prioritize and negotiate requests from multiple stakeholders.Facilitate timeline estimates.Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships.Promote a culture of innovation through openness to new ideas and the incorporation of user feedback into the software development process.Partner with technical leads and fellow product owners within the work stream for learning the business rules, and determine the scope, cost, timing, implementation, and tracking of effective solutions.Design, develop, document, and implement solutions in accordance with user requirements within project specifications.Function in a scrum master/project coordinator capacity as a secondary skillset.Prepare and maintain sprint documentation associated with sprint ceremonies.Prepare project documentation and meeting minutes.What You Will NeedUS Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust.Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.TEN (10) or more years of relevant experience.Experience working as a Business Analyst/Product Owner in developing user requirements, writing use cases, and creating requirements documents and process flows.Experience in an agile software development environment, working on agile software development projects and agile SDLC.Experience working with Product Owner to groom and prioritize a backlog.Experience leading requirements management, requirements elicitation, documentation, and user story definition.Experience facilitating requirements elicitation sessions.Experience with federal government systems.Experience preparing and maintaining sprint documentation associated with sprint ceremonies.Experience with Azure Boards, TFS, JIRA, or alternative tools for managing the product backlog.Experience scheduling, presenting, and running meetings.Experience with managing and updating project documentation.Experience with the Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).What Would Be Nice To HaveExperience leading/facilitating events to define acceptance, prioritize, size, and schedule stories into sprints.Wireframe and advanced process flow tools experience.Working with customers and communicating on cross-team initiatives.Ability to communicate complex technical problems to a non-technical audience.Must have initiative, be a self-starter, and be able to balance multiple and shifting priorities and deadlines.Strong communications skills.International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) business analysis certifications: Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA), Certified in Business Analysis (CCBA) and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications: PMI-PBA and/or PMI-ACP.Scrum Alliance certification: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or Certified Scrum Master.SAFe: Product Owner /Product Manager Certification (POPM) and/or SAFe Agilist.What We OfferGuidehouse offers a
