Job Responsibilities:
Develop and document detailed solution design and act as an application SME through the design and development lifecycle ensuring alignment with Architecture.
Accountable for complex applications/systems development, programming/coding.
Create solution options and a comprehensive end-to-end solution, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to support development initiatives.
Provide estimates for new projects and initiatives for the development/design component of the overall plan.
Develop functional, technical, and user interface designs for applications/systems that meet defined requirements.
Consult on the development of the System Requirements Specification (SRS) and apply functional knowledge of business functions.
Review technical deliverables throughout the design and development phase to ensure quality adherence.
Work with the Technology Project Manager and other team members to define metrics and performance goals.
Comply with enterprise technology delivery practices and standards.
Deliver effective solutions by meeting project milestones and ensuring project deliverables are on time and within budget.
Identify opportunities to minimize cost and enhance stakeholder experience.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality and standards compliance.
Support knowledge management processes for LOB/portfolio.
Ensure design leverages existing reusable components and has traceability to business requirements.
Identify and address application and data issues affecting application integrity.
Provide technical support for escalated incidents/outages.
Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with emerging technologies.
Prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines.
Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork.
Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners.
Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units.
Perform complex to difficult technical tasks independently.
Possess advanced knowledge of the business, technical environment, and relevant technology areas.
Act as a subject matter expert in at least one area of discipline.
Work independently on a diverse range of activities and provide technical guidance to others.
Develop detailed, complex project plans and understand the impact/risk of integrating third-party solutions.
Skills and Experience Required:
Required:
7+ years of relevant experience in the IT industry.
Angular 10+/REACT.
NGRX.
2+ years of experience in JavaScript, CSS/HTML5, CSS3, REST/JSON/SOAP, APIs.
Familiar with key JavaScript frameworks including AngularJS, jQuery, jQuery Mobile.
Experience with Disciplined Agile/Agile Rollout Methodology.
Jira and Confluence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, attentive to detail, and customer-oriented.
Positive attitude and ability to work independently or in groups.
Desired:
Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
Past Java coding experience is a plus.
NodeJS.
Familiar with key mobile app test automation tools.
Working experience in the Enterprise/Financial Industry and knowledge of bank and technology standards is an asset.
Education:
Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
