The US Tax Analytics team has combined operations, technology and modeling under one team to go beyond traditional compliance and reporting to obtain insights from our data. The US Tax Analytics team is responsible for all aspects of US Federal income tax compliance (domestic and international), state and local tax filings, aspects of the quarterly income tax provision, long term forecasting, analytics with data visualization, modeling of tax legislative changes, & controversy. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an ability to think critically, take initiative and identify challenges and opportunities.Responsibilities:Prepare aspects of the US Federal income tax return including forms 1120, 5471, 8858, 8865 and associated schedules and attachments.Prepare components of the quarterly provision for income taxes including GILTI, Subpart F and domestic M adjustments.Assist with technical research and quantitative analysis for tax planning projects, such as calculating tax basis, gain and loss calculations, E&P analysis, etc.Annual budgeting and modeling of US tax reform including GILTI, 163(j) and foreign tax credits.Prepare written technical memorandums analyzing the US federal income tax consequences of transactions.Review and preparation of fixed asset analysis.Support tax controversy activities.Develop effective working relationships with non-tax counterparts in finance, legal and treasury.Exhibit project management and self-management, communication and teaming skills.Demonstrate ownership and accountability for achieving goals and objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax. Master’s degree is a plus & CPA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience with a national accounting firm or a multi-national corporate tax department.Ideal candidates will have a strong international tax background with a curiosity about growing their domestic tax knowledge.Significant experience in preparation and review of Forms 1120, 5471, 8858, or 8865 (experience with Corptax a plus).Prior experience preparing Microsoft Excel based tax models and review of M&A prepared financial models. Familiarity with Power BI and Power BI Desktop a plus.Experience with tax technical research and an ability to clearly present sophisticated tax issues to management.
